endurance conditioning

well here i am after months of not logging in. i have been conditioning my mare annabelle to return to endurance. its been hot. 2 other riders are working hard with me. we've ridden near 300 miles during this hot time of july and august. planning a 30 mile ride september 9. last week we attempted a practice run and made 27. annie didnt eat when we stopped and she pooped out with the heat. she had a cold and i think a slightly elevated temperature and it was tooo much. she is almost over the cough, we rode 15 today. awesome day! absolutely awesome! when we arrived back to the trailers at the parking area of Laurel Hill Lake our trailer was blocked in. we had to drive around in the grown up area to get out but no harm, we made it. note to self, park headed out next time at the front of the line.

and THANK YOU for marking and making more trail. we rode 27 miles and didnt use all the trails in combination with the roads! it spoils me for riding anywhere else. I'm excited about going as you can tell. Dawson and his buddy jollyRoger are doing so well. i know he will make his goal of racing 100 miles.

Audrey, i have two who need to get out and go so i just need to make a plan, i hope i'm never too busy to ride some more. i never get tired of it. aren't the new trails awesome? or even awesomer than the old ones?

Patty,It was good to see you yesterday, out on the trails,I hope you won't be so busy doing endurance,that you can't just ride with your riding buddies!!! LOL Would love to ride with you again!!!

You 3 are awesome! I am really looking forward to being the 'pit crew' for your ride on the 9th. Thanks for taking care of my friend Dawson. He is a wonderful man of God and this is a blessing for him.
