June 25 - 26 th is a major celebration in Wyoming and Montana. It is the Buffalo Bill days in Sheridan Wy and also is the aniversary of Custers Last Stand
I am in Wyoming this week, On Wednesday, we hauled our horses to Montana and got to take a trailride thru the campground of the Indians and follow the route Custer took as he approached the battlefied and met his death along with the other soldiers. It was overwhelming experience.
the BB days are in Sheridan Wy and I got to participate in the Wild West Show at the Sheridan Hotel, as a Calvary Aide to Col Custer and Buffalo Bill. The main program was on Saturday night, where we robbed a Stagecoach and had an indian attack and did a shooting demonstration for a full grandstand.
Tonight, I am camped at the base (entrance ) of the Yellowstone National forrest and will ride a short ways in the Morning before heading on to Calgary Canada for the Stampede.
Happy trails to all.
