I rode yesterday at laurel hill and had an encounter with bees. This is an attempt to let you know where it happened and hopefully avoid the area. We parked at finney rd. went north down the hill, crossed the branch and up the hill. Instead of going the latest trail we turned left down the hill that eventually crosses little buffalo. Just as you get to the bottom of the hill, into the flats of the stream , the yellow jackets swarmed us and chased us for a couple hundred yards. Everyone except the leader had multiple stings. The bees were coming out of a stump right beside the trail. We need to stay on the trails but this is a part of the trail to avoid.
