This letter/poem was forwarded to me by one of our members; it's a reminder of why you ladies do what you do, and a lot of it applies to us men too.
I ride. That seems like such a simple statement. However as many women who ride know, it is really a complicated matter. It has to do with power and empowerment. Being able to do things you might have once considered out of reach or ability. I have considered this as I shovel manure, fill water barrels in the… Continue

Does anyone know of a good winter riding boot, one that is insulated and waterproof to keep your feet dry and warm?

Well, Christmas is barrelling down on us like a freight train and I am not ready!!! My shopping got put on hold the last couple of paychecks due to 2 vehicles having to go into the shop. So now I am having to do what I hate to do...last minute shopping. As well as end of year eye doctor and dentist appointments. I am cleaning, cooking holiday treats, shopping, wrapping, etc, etc...all the while thinking "I could be at Why Not or Circle E riding"! I am off the 30th and the 31st, but have to work… Continue

I am looking for something that is proven on the trails, road riding, saddle club shows, etc. One that is maybe a little older that you would like to find a good home for. Thanks for your reply !! I have been so happy with this little mare except for this one thing!! Your advice is sound and makes sense. But, you know the 'waiting is the hardest part". It reassures me that someone else has gone through this too. I do ride on my own on occasion, but only in areas I know well where I'll run into folks I know also!!
Happy riding !!
