We are going to Bryson City N.C. and with the I40 rock slide closing the Interstate were looking for alternate routes. Anyone pulled a sizable trailer north on US 19 from Murphy N.C. to Bryson City N.C. recently?

Several of us from Maury County are going to Shawnee on Oct. 30? We will be staying at Hayes Canyon. Anyone else going to be in that area? We have been there once before but still have a lot to learn about the trails and area.
Blessings, Linda

I want to celebrate my 45th birthday at Big South Fork with a few of my girlfriends November 17th. I will need to rent a cabin as I only have a two horse bumper pull. There is so much info on the net but what I am finding is many of these cabins you have to trailer to the trails. Does any one have a lead on a nice cabin where you don't have to trailer to the trails ??? I know many of you probably have living quarters in your horse trailer so you can stay in the park at the horse camps... I have…

I need help finding a good home for my fathers german shepherd. He is 2 years old, weighs about 90lbs and has been neutered. My father is getting to frail to handle this dog, plus he knocks some of the small children down wanting to play with them. I would keep him, but we already have 3 labs.
I must be assured that this dog will be taken care of and given a loving home. He needs somewhere in the country to run and play, he really enjoys playing in the water. He must have a big area to…

I am a real estate agent specializing in horse properties. I own horses and if there is a horse event going on somewhere around the Middle Tennessee area...good chances are I am there! Having horses myself, I know what makes a property a horse property, when working with buyers and sellers I focus on the horse friendly details! Let me share a pet peeve I have if you don't mind, and I may do this from time to time...
I listed a property a few days ago which had been listed previously and…

A few of my friends and I are riding Lone Mountain State Park this Saturday 10-12-09. We usually try to get started around 10 am. We normally leave from the back parking area over near Arms Chapel. If anyone is interested in riding with us and would like some information, please let me know. There are two other people from this site that will more than likely be riding. Tim Portice and Ti Arnold. Everyone is welcome.

Hoping to go to Citico Creek this week to ride! There are some trails we have not explored yet that some friends told us about. Campsite number 9 up river from the horse camp is the best place, then you can ride up to Farr's Gap. The horses are ready to go! They practically hop in the trailer. I have shoes on Mid's front feet, because hooves were starting to wear down from too much riding on rock lately. One front foot began to get a little sore. I usually ride him barefoot, and 99 percent of…
