Hey everyone, if you want to attend a nice trail ride for a good cause, Long C in Westmoreland is having a trail ride, silent auction, bbq, etc.... to benefit St. Jude's... They have camping accomodations, stalls, etc... It is 35.00 per rider. Not bad for a great time with trail riding buddies.

i've just about got my horses in condition for the endurance ride coming up and what happens? Deer hunting season happens. So i'm looking for places to condition. I have a few ideas but anyone else here ride for several hours at a trot and know of a place or be willing to share a "personal" riding spot in exchange for coming my way sometimes? Water on trail would be great. thanks

Everyone with the elections coming up it is the perfect time to meet the candidates and let them know about the need for more public horse trails here in our area. Numbers matter! Also, $$$$$. It is proven that for every $1 spent on tourism it yields a $7 return. Riders will come from other states plus we locals need more areas. Be polite but please let your voice be heard.

My husband and I own two TWH and two saddle horses. We are interested in feedback about different saddle types. We purchased saddles two or three days after we got our horses and really didn't realize that we might need something different for a gaited horse. Thanks for your input!
