Hi!
I am looking to buy a black (or dark brown) saddle with gaited or semi QH bars. My horse is a little hard to fit. He is a TWH/SB cross. I have bought 2 saddles for him already that have not fit him.
I do not have tons of money to spend, so I'm not going to be real picky about the shape. I just want to be able to get up in it, without fear of it falling apart. (I've had that happen before).=( MUST be in ok condition. I don't mind if there's a small tear, I just want a…

I'm looking for a Naturally Smooth Gaited Horse to trail ride and occassionally show at a local fun show. I prefer a palomino, champagne, buckskin, blue roan, bay/white spotted or chocolate w/flaxen mane & tail. The horse must ride well alone and with other horses and have no bad habits. The most I am able to spend is $1,800.00
My e-mail is lex24485@yahoo.com or call (678)557-3440
I live in Georgia and I'm willing to travel for the right…

Well it is almost here again. The weather is getting cooler and folks are wanting to get out and ride. We had some folks in this past weekend and you couldn't have asked for more beautiful weather for riding. Cool mornings and great day temps. The sunflowers in bloom, all the summer colors and the natural beauty of our trails made a lasting impression on our new friends. They booked with us for the next 3 months. WoW! The end of summer is upon us now is the perfect time to get out and ride. We…

Hi everybody!
Last week my husband & I were lucky enough to have a friend of a friend ( and his 3 horses) come through TN. & stay with us for a few days. His name is Eara Cooley & he is from Ca. I think that anyone who loves & respects horses would find his story interesting. Ezra has rode his horse (Big Red) across the United States twice & has also rode across Australia. Ezra does this to raise money for the Children's miracle network & is very passionate…

Its the Mighty Cinch !!
Mighty Cinch is the easiest known way for riders, like you, to tighten your saddles
ON or
OFF your horse. It's small enough to fit under your stirrup leather, but mighty enough to tighten your saddle just by clicking.
And the best part is there is NO pulling; NO tugging AND you don't even have to get off your horse. to retighten your saddle
Want to know more about Mighty Cinch?
You…

The Cornersville FFA & FFA Alumni would like to thank all the workers and everyone that attended the horse show. We had a very hugh night with 385 entry's. Without your support , all this would not be possible to help our school and students. Once again Thank You!!!
We are planning on another Horse Show the first of November, will update about this show at a later time.

I'm a new member. I joined to see if I could find some new people to ride with. I ride Big South Fork,East Fork, Lone Mountain and Norris State Part on a regular basis and I have several other riding locations in and near Anderson County TN. I have a trip planned to go to Station Camp this week 8-21-09, with 4 or 5 of my friends. We are all laid back none of us are heavy drinkers or rough riders.

Hey everyone. I just wanted to warn everyone to be on the lookout for Potomac Horse Fever. I have had two horses that have come down with it; lost one of them. This is something that most people don't think we have to worry about in Tennessee, but it is with us now. I also have a friend that lives about 20 miles from me that has a horse with it and is in very bad condition at UT Vet Hospital. If you notice your horse is acting differently about eating or drinking and is running a fever, it is…

Yanahli WMA is just outside of Columbia off of Hwy 50, on the east side of Columbia. You take a left on Blue Springs Road (if you are coming from Columbia) if you are coming from I-65 I guess you would go right, but I haven't been from that direction so I don't know if Blue Springs road loops back to Hwy 50 or not. Coming from Columbia you will come to a quarry/rock/gravel business and the road turns to gravel and bears off to the right. You will cross a one lane bridge, then you will come to a…

Well, we tried something new with our horses yesterday. Due to the heat, instead of going riding with Little Rock and Summer...we went swimming! Little Rock really seemed to enjoy the water...he pawed and stuck his head under the water, splashing and having a great time. Some friends and I went last weekend to Yanahli WMA just east of Columbia and rode and we watered the horses there in the Duck River. I noticed the river was deep enough to swim the horses there, so this weekend we took them…

We are looking to go to Big South Fork area in 2 weeks. Anyone with ideas about trails we should hit, places we should try and see, camps with good access to those areas?
Sorry Ed, your Oct. ride sounds AWESOME, but I don't think I could make 22 miles at 6 months prego.
