I have a senior QH gelding, that is health and easy going that just needs to be a companion horse. Blazer is 27 and healthy but does require daily feed for maintenance. Unfortunately, he's not just an "easy keeper" pasture horse. Do you have a senior horse also that could use a companion? Blazer has gone blind in his left eye, so doesn't do well in a big herd environment but he maneuvers just fine. Hope to be moving back to Nashville soon and it would sure put my mind at ease if I could find…

Hi I am looking for someone that wants to trail ride. I am married , so I am NOT looking for anything else other than a riding partner. I know there have got to be women out there like me whose husbands wont go riding and they dont wanna go by themselves. I dont like the rough stuff, some hills are fine.. dont like riding on that slick slate rock.. Had a bad spill last year that about took me out of riding. I like going to Primm Springs, Percy Warner, Many Cedars *with a guide*, those are about…

Hello everyone. I went on the Primm Springs ride on Saturday and had a very good time. We met some really nice people and new friends. On this ride we stopped for lunch very near the Dorton Gang's hideout. I think we need to have Mike Murphy enlighten all about his association with the notorious "Dorton Gang". And I warn you to realize you will be hearing from the leader of this outlaw bunch when Mike responds.

Hi to all who rode with us Saturday at Primm Springs. What a GREAT day we had!!! Thanks to all who may have joined us for the first time. Hope you met some new friends and will come back again. I had a rather frustrating time as I was working on my son's horse who had developed some really bad 'marish' habits. I had not ridden her in about a year. I see now I am going to have to do this monthly to keep her in line. She is really the best horse I have....gaits like a dream. Just is the alpha and…

I thought I would start posting some of the c.r.a.p. that keeps going on in my life. I would love to find out if anyone else has the bad luck I do, lol.
Husband couldn't find job, he left and moved to Texas. Can't talk for he says there isn't cell phone reception where he is at. One week after he left my truck broke down, I crushed my pinky toe (that hurts!), found out my almost 2 mo. old colt has an umblical hernia (but vet says he should be ok and to watch it) and still…

I am posting this now so that anyone who wants to go will have plenty of time to prepare. We are going to LBL that week for a full week of camping and horse back riding. If you have never been, you have to have current coggins, and a health certificate from the vet. You can find reservation information on the website www.LBL.org
Their facilities are very nice. They have electric and water hookups, as well as primitive camp sites, or just…

Early this morning the temp was about 55. after crossing the border and back into montana, about 15 miles north of Butte, I pulled into a rest area. the view was so beautiful with the mountains in the background, and a serpetine river rushing over boulders, I decided to sit a spell. I got Doc Holiday out and let him forage and it was then that I saw an old logging road in the woods.
I couldnt stand it, so I saddled up and we rode, following the river for about 45 minutes and then came back…
