I lost a dear friend of mine in a hunting accident. He was an amazing man who thoroughly loved people and God. He left me and everyone around him a legacy. This is his story.
John went hunting alone at about 2pm on a cold December day. As usual he called to let me know he was setting out to bag "That Trophy Buck" and although he seldom did, I always believed him. See, he wasn't just a hunter. He was an ace when it came to self sufficiency. A true sportsman. After his call…Continue

I can't seem to access the Classified section on this site?? Gives me a "fatal error." I'm looking for a well broke, well gaited, sane trail horse 14.3 - 15.1...no vices...for trail riding/camping. Prefer a gelding.
Hello fellow horse lovers,
We've had a very sad week. Our 15 year old Rocky Mountain horse broke his hip while we were camping/riding last weekend. Ten minutes into an easy ride Dingus went completely down and rolled over on my 12 year old son's leg. My son is fine physically but is devastated. We called our vet. It took time for him to get to us, and there was nothing he could do but put our dearly loved horse down.…Continue

I am considering riding somewhere close the week of Labor day while I'm on vacation. Perhaps LBL but would prefer nothing rocky as my horse is barefoot.
Was wondering if anyone else has organized a ride or was planning to ride I could meet up with.
Wild Horse Ministries and Paul Daily will be returning this July 4th for a 2 hour round pen demo with fireworks following.
Currently looking for 2 year old to start in demo, needs to be halter broke and brought to location in Franklin. Demo lasts 2 hours.

Just a heads up. If you plan on getting there early and setting up before the (check-in time) so you can do a day ride, you will be charged for another day. If you want to ride your last day, you have to vacate your site before check-out or pay for another day or move your rig to the day riders area. This raises other issues, if you brought extra horses that would be extra charges for stalling or picketing. Then we have the dog, now you're more likely to get a dog stole tied to you rig in…Continue
