Animal lover, have a beautiful German Sheperd, pesty little dog, an old cat and two bottle baby kittens. If its pitiful I usually drag it home. Spend to much money on it and then find it a good home. Dream is to spend winters in Texas, one daughter lives near Lufkin,Tx. ( they do have some fine quarter horses down here) and spend the summers in Tn. which is home and I have one daughter in Whitwell, Tn. The best riding is definitely in Tn and Ky. Have had horses and made a living with them in the past. Love farming,or just the country life. Some valuble alone time can be found hanging out clothes , love the smell of sunshine and drying off with a rough towel. Right now I am almost free as the wind and hope to ride some new trails this summer and meet other good horsepeople to share the ride with.
Please note your farm, ranch or business website address if you would like to.
Actually, Soli is a grey so her skin is black, I don't have a problem with her sunburning. However, I did have a gelding with a blaze and very pink skin on his nose. I just bought the cheap tube of zinc oxide at Wally World and used it on his nose. It stays on well, although he was never too wild about it.
Dawn do you know who owns the horse in pics you posted the Big Black Walking Horse tied to a trailer? I am trying to find out what happened to my ex's horse . He gave him away and then they got rid of him. I think his name was Shaker's Dark Spirit would have been Racking Horse Papers. If anyone knows of this horse please let me know. Just want to make sure he is okay.
