I am moving back and forth between New Orleans (for work) and Oneida (to ride), have met a lot of people on the trails. I would like to meet trailriders from around my areas who like to ride long hours and like to gait and canter as much as to walk. I am not into competitions (other than watching my daughter). I like the scenery and simply enjoy my horses.
Be a Part of History… and you will be doing an amazing thing to help the great American Mustang. This is a Charity ride and net proceeds from each rider's entry fee will go directly to the Mustang Heritage Foundation.

I know I will not be able to come over the next couple of weeks. I am trying to ride at Catoosa Ridge on Friday Oct 16th with friends who will be there for the week-end. I already agreed to help with a benefit ride on the 17th for Downs Syndrome Children. I am booked to go to High Country Horse Camp in VA in June of next year. Want to join us? We have a large group going. Just call the High Country Horse Camp (they have a website) and tell them to book you when the 'Phil Lee' group are coming. I hope to go back to NM next year also. So many great places to ride and not enough time or money. What do you do in NO?
Susanne, I left a comment for you on Sheryl's blog. We moved here from the NO area also. We are south of Nashville. Come to BSF a couple of times a year. We have been there so much that we are expanding our riding. Go to my page and view my pics from New Mexico. This was my first but pray a regular trip.
I have been doing the local trail rides around here (Fayetteville, Lincoln Co.). I would like to venure out further and really want to ride BSF and the Smokey's. I'm hearing wonderful things about riding both places. I need to trade trucks before I pull very far though. (A friend is looking for what I want). I hope to ride some new places next year, maybe this fall if I get a new truck. On Jennie, she is a wonderful horse, with great blood lines. I was blessed to get her especially not know much about horses. She is a 3 yr old and we are learning together. She is registered TWH and sired by "Colors in General". I picked her out because of her eyes and her friendlyness.
Have a wonderful day
