Sweet Feed and control problems?

I had just about had it with my 4 year old TWH gelding, Pegasus. I posted him for sale on 4 different sites and was trying to detach myself from my love for this horse, in case anyone wanted to buy him. I had talked to several people over the past year about how "wired" he had become and how unmanagable he was getting. I was visiting with a trainer in Leipers Fork and she asked me if I was giving Pegasus any sweet feed. I had been giving him half sweet feed, half oats almost every day since I bo… Continue

Mr Snow, I never did see any pictures from the Leipers Fork parade, if anyone did put some on there, I guess I didn't know they were from Leipers Fork. Anyway I live in Fairview and was very interested in your parade. If ours hadn't been on the same day, I would have rode in yours.
Last year they fell on different days, I'm hoping that next year who ever is in charge of these parades could have them on different days. I was very disappointed in the low horse count in our parade. Our city has ours too early in the morning and everyone freezes to death. But I had fun any way.
How long do you think you parade is -miles that is?

Wow! That's an honor for your horse. He is surely pretty enough to be in a movie.

Thanks Roy, That little rocky is my pride and joy. I have always had walking horses but I thought I would try one of these. I had read so much about them being so good natured. So far, I have been pleased with her. Maybe I'll see you on a ride one of these days.

That is a beautiful horse in a beautiful setting. The guy looks good too.
I am impressed with the very clean white horse. You are a good caregiver.

Welcome Roy. We are happy to have you join the trail riding website. You will see that I posted some pictures from our original South Fork Ridel. You probably already know many of the people, although this network has already attracted members from Florida, Kentucky, Virginia. We hope that it serves as a place to plan rides, post events, share pictures and make new friends.
