I also live in Jamestown, and I also moved here in 2008. I have a young horse who is starting to go on short trail rides. I also have a young horse who is being broken now. I hope she will be ready for some trail riding next year. If you want some riding buddies, let me know.
I think I will go to the 'woman on edge' ride at Catoosa Ridge in Sept. Will you be there?
7/24-25-26/09, at www.whynotranch.com , I talked to Beth this morning, and that weekend is open. You could camp the whole weekend, or come for a day ride. We could all bring a covered dish and eat like PIGGS!!
She has a great bath house with a big covered place, where we could plug in crock pots to eat, and plain a fall ride together. Maybe Big South Fork!
Check out her site, it is between Centerville, and Columbia, Tn., with about 35 mi. of trails.
Beth, also has a house and a bunk house that she rents out, with 20 some campsites with ele.
'Bout time you joined up! I am head over heels in cleaning/repairing/painting the apartment. Also, still having work done here on the place. Yikes! There is a possibility that Shannon might be getting a job (all fingers and toes crossed) and moving into the apartment. We are working on it. Would love to have Shannon as a tenant and her 12 year old gelding should fit right in with the rest of the fat critters. Will talk to you soon. Am still planning to day ride at Why Not.
