Thanks Lee, -- my good TWH mare foundered this April, but seems to be okay. I'm having to keep her in the corral (ugh), high maintenance wench. Getting her and Goliath shod this week, may be able to go somewhere close by Saturday for a day ride.
Hi guys, I'm new, Nancy in Bedford County. I have a 1/2 Belgian, big and pretty 5-yo gelding but last time I took him trail riding he quit. He does okay on flat land, but just overheats and sweats and gives up in hilly terrain. Probably just needs more work and exercise than I have time for.
Hello, I ride my drafts. It would be fun to ride with other dxrafts. I live in Jamestown Tn. How far is that from you?
I also raise half-drafts. I have one who is almost ready for the trails. I also have one who is going to be saddled this summer.
