I love horseback riding. I usually ride about 3 days a week, but would ride more if I could find someone to ride with during the week. I like to ride out at Normandy, White City, Circle E, East Fork @ Jamestown, and of course, Land between the Lakes. Planning at trip there Nov 1.

Riding at East Tn

Hi, I am interested in doing some horsecamping some what near Newport TN. Does anyone know of any good horsecamping locations near there? At least looking for some good weekend riding. Do you have any suggestions for that area?

Tired of the same old trails? Looking for a change of scenery? Come to the top of the Rock......

Bring Your Own Horse, and come ride the beautiful gulfs of Sequatchie Valley and Mill's Creek. Ride on 25,000 acres of un-inhabited remote land, that few have traveled on. Journey to the remains of strip mines and home sites that the settlers left behind. See the breath taking views from atop of the bluffs, then journey to the gulf and ride along rippling creeks, waterfalls (weather permitting), and caves. See deer, turkey, eagles, exotic flowers, unusual rock formations, and lots of… Continue

LAND BETWEEN THE LAKES Nov. 1-Nov 8th

Land Between the Lakes Nov 1- Nov 8

I am posting this now so that anyone who wants to go will have plenty of time to prepare. We are going to LBL that week for a full week of camping and horse back riding. If you have never been, you have to have current coggins, and a health certificate from the vet. You can find reservation information on the website www.LBL.org

Their facilities are very nice. They have electric and water hookups, as well as primitive camp sites, or just… Continue

Hi Christa, That would be Great! Just give me a yell and bring your plans and we can discuss everything over a good long ride. bring anyone who wants to come, I would love to guide everyone through Laurel Hill. Ask Jeannie C. she came down last Saturday and rode with me. Had several people that was a "No Show" but I think she had a good time anyway... If you talk to her, ask her what my horse done to me...lol Yes! He (my horse) made a liar out of me again...lol Talk to you later... "Happy Trails"... Greg

Hey Christa, Yes I can build just barns, or barns with living quarters, wash stalls...etc. I have several in this area that I have built, plus the ones I a building now, including my own. I can build the rustic look ( all rough sawn lumber) or the more modern pole style in any color (with in reason) ... I can do everything from site prep to finished, ready to put your horse in. I can also do all the modern pre-fab finished stalls like you see in your High End TWH stables. Let me know and we can discuss all the options... "Happy Trails", Greg

Hey Christa, Thanks for the invite to ride. As of right now, I am busy, busy, busy. With first cutting hay done, I have a Barn and a Equipment Shed to build and my own Barn to finish inside. Busniness has picked up alot here...Yaaaaaaa BUT I am available to ride on weekends at Laurel Hill and a couple of other places here close to home If anyone is intrested. Maybe before winter sets in, I may be able to get up that way for a weekend getaway and check out the trails. With this economy the way it is, I try not to spend alot of money that I don't have to. To fill you in... Last August, a horse I was boarding, head butted me and gave me a big OUCHIE... He broke my nose, caved in my left sinus cavity and on top of that, a DOUBLE concussion. I went for over nine months without working. Soooo as you can figure...My money is tight right now. Anyway, things are looking up, Thanks to the GOOD LORD above I am back on track with everything... Anyway, yell back and "Happy Trails", Greg

Hey Christa, Hay season is over YAAAA!!! Well first cutting anyway. My barns are full. If you know of anyone wanting hay, I will have a full second cut that I will not need and will take orders for. Sorry to hear you had as much trouble as you did on your trip to LBL. I hope you got your truck back AND in working order. It's nice to have you as a friend and bring the "Gang" down and ride sometime. "Happy Trails"
