We live in upper middle TN on 28 acres with eight horses, several dogs & cats. We have a QH gelding and several Spotted Saddle mares that are broke and have been ridden at Long C Trails. Our Grandchildren love horses and our Granddaughter, Amanda, has been on many, many trail rides with me.
I've been riding and around horses my whole life. Randy & I have just about always had horses. I can't imagine not having them. We just got a new mare that our eight year old Grandson is going to be riding.
We run a small tack shop in Lafayette and set up at Long C Trails on Saturdays with a large mobile tack unit. We also sell online.
Please note your farm, ranch or business website address if you would like to.
Hi Brenda! Glad you liked my photos and Chesapeakes :-) I have had Chessies for 27 years....not a breeder or hunter....They are just great companion dogs....and kind of like having Police backup at all times. Mine are all good natured...and completely obedience trained. Sometimes all you have is a good dog between you and the boogyman. I also have Greyhound cross and a Rat terrier...but they are my "bad dogs" I say that affectionately....Chesapeakes are very intelligent....and train very easily. Greyhounds....not so much...
You have beautiful horses. My riding partner has all gaited horses, and Spider, her big black and white is a Spotted saddle horse. Thanks for the note. Di
