Tell us something about you, anything.
WE RAISE ROCKY MOUNTAIN HORSES AND THROUGHLY LOVE IT. WE HAVE OUR OWN STALLION. ( I.C. DIAMONDS ) WE ALSO RAISE SCHNAUZERS. AND JUST REALLY ENJOY OUR ANIMALS TO THE FULLEST. WOULD LOVE TO MEET ANYONE AND TALK HORSES OR WHAT EVER. HAS BEEN REALLY COLD HERE THIS WINTER. CAN HARDLY WAIT FOR THE WEATHER TO BREAK AND RIDE. HORSES ARE ALL FUZZY, I LOVE IT WHEN THE COAT STARTS TO COME OFF. JUST GOT A NEW COLT. A ROCKY, HE IS OF RARE COLOR. A SILVER BUCKSKIN. HAD HIS GENETICS DONE SO WE DO KNOW THAT FOR SURE. HOPING HE WILL BE A PROSPECT FOR A NICE STALLION TO CARRY ON HIS OLD FOUNDATION BREEDING. DID ALOT OF GAMING ON HORSES FOR MANY YEARS. MY BACK SAYS NO MORE. THAT IS ONE OF THE REASONS FOR GOING GAITED, BESIDES I LIKE THE TEMPERMENT OF THE ROCKIES AND THE DREAM RIDE. IF ANYONE GETS WISCONSIN WAY. LET ME KNOW AND WE COULD HOOK UP ON SOME TRAILS.

Hi!! I am glad to know you, too! It is always fun to meet other horse folks in different parts of the country. Wisconsin is indeed a beautiful place. I have visited there in the past, around Madison area. I love it! I love Rockies, too, and yours are gorgeous! I want to get a Rocky soon -- a friend of mine has some here, and I fell in love with them.

Grandma, why do you have Faith on your profile, but not me? You got pics of me with the horses!

I have both gaited and quarter horses. I show a spotted saddle mare that is coming up on 17 yrs young!!! Had her since she was a 2yo.
I also have a TWH stallion that is an x show horse and is just used as a breeder and my buddy in the barn. I have 12 head of both quarter and gaited. Trying to sell down tho, sold a 4yo last week and hopefully got a buyer coming this weekend...to look... I love them but too much work any more as I get older. If I can cut back then I hope to trail ride more. I will try to get more pics posted when I can...thanks for the email

How difficult was it to get your horse "Rocky Certified". And why did you have to get him certified, was it because both if his sires were not Rocky?

We rode last sunday for 5 hours, it was a great day, warm enough to ride in shirts, no jackets. I hear that the upcoming weekend might be warm too.

We'll have 2 Rockies foaling in April, bred to a nice 16.2 Rocky stallion. I always look forward to foaling season.

We're sure glad to have you and your family join the website. Hope to meet you on a trail ride in 2009.

Cheers and happy trails,
Mike

Yep, I used to have an office in Madison, WI so I experienced, first hand, how cold the winters can be. Good luck picking up your two year old, at the end of February, you are likely to be driving your horse trailer through "feet" of snow in Minnesota. Do you intend to breed your Rocky Stallion to other Rocky mares or what?

Howdy Bonnie, thanks for joining Tennessee Trail Riders. We look forward to your "horsey" pictures that you can post and share with others on our website. Also try your hand at posting events, videos and trail ratings. Feel free to invite friendly trail riders and horse lovers by clicking on "INVITE" on the main menu (top right corner of the main page).

I hope this site is helpful in meeting other equine enthusiasts; my wife and I also breed and raise Rockies, love 'em. Keep an eye on the EVENTS section announcing trail rides and equine events featuring and including our members.

Again, thanks for joing the website, we look forward to meeting you.

Cheers and happy trails,
Mike Murphy
