- I have been riding since I was 10, endurance since 1988 (age 28 when started). I have over 5000 miles of competition and I'm still LOVING it. :-) I manage the Longstreet's Charge Endurance Ride in LaFayette, GA Memorial Day Weekend. Love one day 100's when I have a horse that can do it. Husband Bill and daughter Bonnie are great crews. Daughter Josie also competes in 100 milers. I write for TrailBlazer magazine and have a book "The Lighter Side of Endurance Riding" that is a compilation of humor articles.
