I LOVE HORSES! Had horses most of my life. Trying to get over some confidence/fear issues when it comes to riding. Need riding buddies to help get back to trailriding. Love the outdoors, camping, fishing, etc. Would love to find someone to ride with close to home.

I noticed you are in Collierville, I used to come down and work on hunter/jumpers 20 years ago.

If you would take some pictures of your horse,
full body side shot
bottom and sides of the feet

The barefoot farrier that might be able to help you is Jim Apple, you can send him a message or plea from this website...he is a member. He is very knowledgable about feet and can probably be a big help to you.

Best wishes,

I'm seeing a lot better...I rode all weekend last weekened, just had to wear my Ray Charles sunglasses but it gave everybody else something to whisper about!....("I think that poor lady is blind....and she is still riding a horse!") LOL! I'm sure that's what I look like. Some friends and I were going camping at Wranglers Camp, LBL this weekend but they had some family obligations come up for Sat. at the last minute, so we are just going early in the morning take a lunch and day ride tomorrow! Come on and join us if you're close enough we'll have our women on the edge t-shirts on so we'll be easy to spot! talk to ya later SEE ya soon! Cheryl

Why don't you go this Saturday to the Bolo Club ride just for the day! I won't be at this one but a bunch of the gals will and Melissa Bates who is hosting this ride is a real sweetheart, I think you'll enjoy it. I will be at the Catoosa Ridge ride Sept. 12 that is a beautiful place to ride! Just plan on coming girl and we'll see ya there!

this morning I'm already seeing a lot better out of it! I had and am having in the other eye the Restore lens' the doc said they were the best and I wouldn't have to wear glasses at all!! Yeahhhhh!!!!! I may ride late this afternoon out from here and maybe Pennyrile tomorrow. There are still a lot of limbs hanging down over the trails over there and I don't want to take a chance on getting a lick in the eye right now. My girlfriend and I are thinking seriously about camping at Wranglers next weekend, because we know they'll already be booked full for labor day!
Talk to ya later. Cheryl

Hey Angel, I'm not sure what chapter would be closest to you but you'll really be a member of all of em' it just depends if you would like to help out your local chapter organise a ride or not. Why don't you just attend some rides whether you ride or not and just hang out with us after the rides and eat and socialize chances are there may be someone there that would help you with you confidence issues and let you rides some sure enough broke horses and help steer you in the right direction before you make that purchase. Thanks, Cheryl
