Where were you riding, Linda? Had you had an opportunity to water? I always feel like my horse is in shape and foolishly think it won't happen to me. I would never get over it if I felt that I had caused his death.
We certainly plan to ride there often before Oct. It's so sad that she's closing because it's a great place to ride for all the reasons you stated. Another being there is no mud there! I sure wish she could stay open through leasing or whatever. It'…
We have rented a beautiful log home at www.laurelfork.com It was great. At the time I rented a horse and rode with a group, but I believe you could ride directly from the house to the trails.
The spot stuff is pretty good. Actually I think it works best on ticks. Problem is it's pricey and lasts for only 2 weeks. I've just been to Farm Center and bought something you mix up. I needed something to spray stalls as well as horses. I've had…
This may be farther than you'd like to go, but Fountain Creek or Yanhali on Hwy. 50 between Lewisburg and Columbia is a good beginner place. It does cross roads a couple of times, but very little if any traffic. It can be a little muddy in places. W…
I can't believe they didn't have damage and you were able to work. That's wonderful. Thanks so much. I know there will be countless riders like us who will enjoy it!

We rode there last year in July and I don't remember any ticks. At the time we didn't know it was a place where they were really concentrated. I guess we sprayed for flies and bugs and maybe that helped for the ticks also. When we rode there in earl…
We have a spotted mare that is 12 days overdue and we're getting worried! People have told us this is not that unusual this year in particular. She has all the signs, except the waxing. We're so tired of watching and waiting.
I grew up with horses, but until last year I had not ridden in 30 years. I love being back in the saddle again! My grandaughters are beginning riders. Together we have a total of 5 that I take care of.
Hey Alice,It was a beautiful day for riding. The trails were in pretty good shape, still muddy in some places. And there were hunter's everywhere!!!! I talked to a lot of folks riding there and asked them if any of them were from the TTR website, none of them were!!!!! I told them that they should join. You should've came along,we had a lot of fun!!!!!! I hope the weather holds out for more good riding!!!!! Take care and let's ride sometimes,Audrey
Alice, would you please ask Suzanne to contact me. I want to talk with her more about the job prospects she was telling me about. Thanks.
Blessings, Linda
Alice, the ride this next Saturday is not off hwy 7. I asked Maurice to post directions on the TTR site but if he does not email me and I will give them to you. My email is: grajewskil@bellsouth.net Hope to see you and Suzanne there.
Blessings, Linda
Alice, we sure enjoyed you and Suzanne joining us yesterday. We talked at church about what a wonderful day and ride we had. What a difference a day makes, yuck for the weather today!. I am thankful for each beautiful day that I am able to ride and friends to share it with. Look forward to riding with both of you again.
Blessings, Llidna
Hey Alice, What happened ? I was hoping that you would've e-mailed me a place to meet,so I could've followed you there!!! I'm pretty sure you would pass right by my place on your way there or we could've met at love's gas station or something. Since I didn't get to ride ,I washed all the horses in iodine shampoo and then put a solution of water and bleach on the rain rot spots. I hope that will get rid of it,all that rain wasn't good on them!!! Anyways, I hope ya'll had a good ride, I'm gonna try and go tomorrow, either Circle E or the walls of Jericho. Maybe we can ride another time!!! Bye-Bye!!! Audrey
Hey Alice, How are you doing? I was thinking about riding there at Primm Springs tomorrow, but I've never been there and I'm not sure how to get there. Could we meet so I could follow you there? When are ya'll meeting? It's almost time to get a reset on my horses shoes, I hope it won't be to muddy over there. Just let me know if we can meet somewhere ,so I can follow you!!! Audrey
Alice: Linda and I have decided to ride Fountain Creek Saturday Oct. 3.
We will ride out at 10:00 am for about 3 hours and carry a snack for lunch. There seems to be no other rides that day and I thought some of us locals could get together. Just pass the word.
