Also, there are courses appropriate for all levels of cross country training. You can even school your horse how to negotiate a water jump or just water in general. There is nothing like these courses anywhere around middle Tennessee unless you're a pony clubber and can take advantage of the Percy Warner Park jumps. Theirs are the only ones that come close.

Our hunt club is having a schooling show this Saturday the 6th. You can go to our Web Site at www.beechgrovehunt.com for all the details. This is a great schooling show with a water jump .

Stasia, you and Flo can come to our Pwhat rides if you want . I can't go to all of them due to work/classes/work/ but I am going to try to keep old GB better conditioned this summer. Remind of this statement when its 99 degress out there :-)

It was a great hunt to end the season. Now I'm kind of out of sorts because usually by Wednesday I'm checking Saturday's weather. Now it doesn't matter and I'm kind of bummed. It won't take long to adjust, especially with a few trail rides thrown in.

Had a great time at Beechgrove Hunt. Even my friend on her walking horse thought this is something she may want to do on a regular basis. She said HER HORSE really enjoyed it. Well yeah, its fun, of course he enjoyed it lololo. The weather and footing was perfect, and it appeared everyone had a good time.

Invitational Hunt on March 21 was a great success! Hounds hunted well and guests got to see lots of good hound work for over two hours.
Great socializing and BBQ afterward. Most want to come again.
Look for our annual Derby Day trail ride on May 2. Great food and Derby watching at the cabin after the ride.

Well, in spite of not hunting Flo and I rode anyway because Dan and Dakota have been cooped up since it started a few days ago. They were teaching lessons in the indoor arena and we don't do traffic control in small spaces, so we rode outside in the rain. Hey, we're foxhunters, it didn't matter to us. Our horses got worked down and went in calmly, and it was very productivel.

The radar looks like HELL ...OMG !! rain rain rain..... and last weekend was sooo nice. Well we can't complain about a DROUGHT now can we, should be plenty of hay again this year. I hope it will dry out some by next weekend.

good move because the radar at 5:30 am has a long way to go before the rain stops.
