There is a local riding club, it's been around quite some time.

Hi Sue! haha
you are not in your usual horse in your avatar... mind you neither am I in mine!
Oh Girl,
you're going to laugh when I tell how I knew it was you INSTANTLY when I saw your post...
It' was your posture, you are the only one I know that lives down here that rides with that perfect posture.
lolol
Hey the Mustangs will be delivered tomorrow morning at 7 am and the kids will all be coming to the ranch for the drawings on Saturday morning. Hope to see you one of those days??
Bring that handsome man of yours and some snacks or a chips to pass and come and join the fun.
Oh, the avatar that I have on here is of my old TWH . I sold him several years ago right before I bought Jazz.
HAHAH... that is funny- the reason I am being all proper in that photo is that it was taken in england last summer and I was having a lesson on this Gigantic thoroughbred-his owner was standing in the middle of the arena saying, leg here, bum in, back straighter etc etc!!!!

I am playing tennis today - 9-10.30 and then 2.30-4 and then Brigitte and I are having a lesson this evening so... no time to make it to the ranch sorry.

Plus it looks as though we are getting a couple of QHs tomorrow and I dont need ANY MORE PROJECTS right now!!! I have to remind myself I have a thesis to write too... a tennis team to coach!!!!! plus a few other clients!! I am also going to be taking another Job on in the fall to help pay for my damn projects ahha... :s
iN mIDDLE tENNESSEE THE UPPER CUMBERLAND HORSE BACK RIDERS CLUB IS VERY NICE I JOINED THEM WHEN i DID NOT KNOW ANY ONE HERE.tHEY ARE NICE AND FREINDLY AND CAMP ONE TIME A YEAR.

I live in Smithville, I have several trails in/around Center Hill Lake---you are not far from me, 4 Seasons Boat Dock area.

I just moved to cookeville and am looking for people to trail ride with.

Hi Jaime,

I would recommend checking out the Rickman Saddle Club

http://rickman-saddle-club.webs.com/

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Rickman-Saddle-Club/154906777889607

or the Tri Color Acres Saddle Club:

http://www.tricolor-barrelhorses.com/tricolorsaddleclub.htm

It's mostly the same group of people at both venues. They organise trail rides, and it would be a good way for you to meet other horse owners locally and then organise your own trail rides. The saddle club shows are very laid back and accommodating to people who have never shown before ( as I was) but equally happy to have experienced members.

You could even go to the shows without bringing a horse just to meet the people. They wouldn't mind at all.

Margot

Thanks for your help :)

Jamie, I live in Monterey :)  We trail ride a lot in BSF, East Fork and Catoosa Ridge.    You're welcome to join us sometime!   We have also just started a saddle club in Crossville, called the Plateau Saddle Club.     We have a website, www.plateausaddleclub.com, and a Facebook page (which is the easiest way to follow us).  We have a ride scheduled every month, and clinics and dinners and speakers at the meetings.    Feel free to email me, barefoothorses@hotmail.com!
