It has been hard for me to find people who want to ride for a long time. I did find a couple of guys I have been riding with. I go for 8 to 12 hours each day, I don't know how many miles that is but I would like to know more about the longriders please........Thanks.........Tazz
This little division of TN trail riders was just started by MIke the first of Oct. so hang arouond and see where it leads. The longriders guild is a national organization of 1000 mile riders (in one streach) at http://www.thelongridersguild.com/ I think that would take a month minimum with a well conditioned not too slow horse, (usually includes a pack horse as well to carry camping supplys)
I would like to join your group. They call me old Rebel. I am a cavalry civil war reenactor and we ride anywhere from 12 to 25 miles a day when we ride. On a raid we will ride 150 miles in a 3 day period. I am looking for a group that wants to ride about 25 miles a day, camp for the night and get up the next morning and ride another 25 miles and so on and son on. We can get someone to taxi us back to our horses if we have a starting point and an ending point picked out. My name is Earl Webb. I am very interested in riding the Natchez trace like that.
Hi Earl! I have a group I ride with now and we go for good rides too. I have not heard from this group. Most of these people are from the Livingston area. We would love to have you join us!! Normally we ride on Sundays but I would love to ride Saturday also and I do some times but I ride alone. Thanks
I live in Cornersville, Tennessee. Where do you live ? I would love to park the horse trailers on the Natchez trace about 25 miles and have someone pony us back and just ride and see the historical sites along the way. I would really like to go from the Tennessee Start of the trace and ride all the way to Mississippi.
