Hi!! New to group!

A group of us are going to Fall Branch (near tri-cities) to a friends farm in a couple weeks, and was wondering if you knew of any great trails up in that area. We have done most of the trails here in our area (BSF, Smokies, Bakers Creek, Norris, Citico, Farrs Gap, Coker Creek, Panther Creek, Rarity Bay, etc.) Looking to see if there are any good ones up near tri-cities? I have 2 horses (TN Walking horses - Midnight and Renegade), but will most likely take Midnight. Reni is still in training but is doing beautifully. I want to do Lone Mountain sometime in the near future, too. Anyone heard of the Lovingood trail challenge in Oct? I would love to do that.

I am new to this site and feel a need to apologize for canceling my Competitive Trail Challenge set for October 31. I had never dealt with the American Competitive Trail Horse Association before and was disappointed that only 3 riders signed up. I was under the impression that there were riders out there chomping at the bit looking for these CTC rides and all that ACTHA needed was a venue, my responsibility was to get the word out locally and gather enough people to be judges, safety riders, record keeppers, etc. Needless to say it was a disappointment when three people sighed up for a ride that I had fifteen people to manage. The same weekend ACTHRA was promoting another ride with dozens of e-mails taking place in western North Carolina. No way I could compete here in East Tennessee without similar support. Does anyone know of another competitive trail organization that doesn't spread its participants thin?
