Please help save the Twin Forks Trail in Murfreesboro. The Corps of Engineers has paved over the first 1.4 miles of trail with a greenway, so you can no longer ride to the Walter Hill Dam. I want to preserve the remaining 18 miles of trail so that in the future when the greenway connects with Smyrna we do not lose any more trail mileage. Please sign my petition at Save Murfreesboro Horse Trail
The corps has built a new trailer parking lot and trail head 1 mile up Central Valley Rd from Rt 231. The new trail is wider and straighter (great for gaiting) and goes 1.7 miles before it connects with the old trail heading toward the boat ramp at East Fork Recreation.
Thanks for your help with the petition, Laney Ware
