That's the way to live. I wish I could share what I know with everyone, but few would see it like I do because they have not the background understanding.
But I'll try in a few phrases.
First I should mention some prophecies that were written down 2500 and 1900 years ago, when we take those and lay them beside history since then, they match like hand in glove. And the way the nations and religions of the world are acting right now, it's very obvious they're setting things up to finish the job.

The plain defination of sin is the transgression of God's law. This world is on quarentine because of sin. Once the sin problem is cured this world will be taken off quarentine, completely rebuilt by the Creator, and all of us who survive will be given eternal life to enjoy the tropical paradise forever right here on this earth.
But that's just the beginning. The whole universe is occupied with inhabited worlds that never got contaminated with sin, and their inhabitants fly all over the universe with great ease. We will have the privelage of joining them. But we will have the honor of living at universe headquarters planit.
The question of how to survive is answered in the Bible, basicly we need to be as much like Jesus as we posibly can be, the love and the service. And there is no greater joy on earth than the joy of making someone else happy. The best way to get that way is spend time reading about how he lived, "by beholding we are changed". A really good book is "The Desire Of Ages" stated by the library of congress as the "best book ever written on the life of Christ"
There is a man being given dreams, (as best I can tell it's genuine, I will believe it is untill proven otherwise) shown future events on earth and what's it's like out there as encouragement to be diligent to cast off the sin that will prevent us from enjoying it and get ready because it's coming. http://www.formypeople.org/

Oh and I have learned from a couple sources that those of us who have favorate pets in this world, dogs/horses etc, they will be given back to us when it's recreated, even thogh we lost them to death here.
