I just wanted to say a very heartfelt Thank You to all who have indicated they will attend this memorial trail ride. I know this is a very busy time of year and there are always things to spend your money on...but horse people are just the best people, they give of themselves to help others, whether it is families or animals in need! Thank you so much! Please spread the word and invite anyone and everyone you know! The property is lovely...open pastures, rolling hills, nothing too extreme...a great place to take a green horse or inexperienced rider. Hope to see many of you there! Dont forget there will be plate lunches for sale.

Can I get some info on this please??
December 6, 2009 gate opens at 10:00a.m. 1736 Evergreen Road Thompson station TN 37179. Sunset worship service to follow after ride. Bring your own blanket or chair.
Is there a specific ride time? Or do you just ride on your own?
Hi Jill, there will be several people acting as trail masters leading different groups...of course this depends on how many people show up. It may be one big group, or maybe 2 or 3 smaller groups. This is a privately owned property that was donated for the ride, so individuals riding off by themselves won't be allowed. I think the morning ride will start at 10, then at lunch time plate lunches will be sold to those that want them, then an afternoon ride. I will clarify this and get back to you here on the website.
OK, just got off the phone with the ride organizer. There will be groups going out all day. I thought it would be a ride in the morning and a ride after lunch, but there were so many people who could not make it by 10 am, that they decided to just take groups out as they come. So...the gates will be open at 10, someone will be there to check your coggins, get your release form signed, and take your money. Then there are people who will direct you to where you will park. As soon as a group of people are ready to ride, a trail master who knows the property will take them out to ride. We have several people who will act as trail masters. You may ride as many loops as you want (it is a 600 acre property) throughout the day. Plate lunches will be sold all afternoon, no set time for lunch, so you can eat when you want and ride when you want. Then at sunset there will be a memorial service for Ben for anyone who would like to attend. I hope this clarifies things and I hope to see many of you there! I don't know if I will be riding, more than likely I will be helping at various places, but I will bring my horses, so I may get to ride some if enough help is there. See ya Sunday morning!
Hey Adrienne,I just wasn't looking on the right posting!!!HA-HA!!!! So never mind!!!!! Hopefully we will get to meet you. Thanks again,Audrey Rody
