Tennessee REIN (Reaching Equines In Need): The REIN Event

On Saturday, November 20, 2010, Tennessee REIN (Reaching Equines In Need) will be hosting its first fundraiser, “The REIN Event,” at the Tennessee State Fairgrounds in Nashville, TN.

While exact numbers are not available, Tennessee lies within the top 5 states in the U.S. with regards to per capita horse population; we are blessed to have so many horse owners in our area who take such care and pride in their equine companions. Unfortunately, circumstances sometimes occur that can make caring for these animals difficult. For example, droughts in recent years have made affordable hay a scarce commodity, and the recent floods also left some equines in crisis. Difficult economic circumstances have also affected the ability of area horse owners to properly care for their animals. Be it natural disaster or personal crisis, our beloved equine companions are sometimes the unfortunate victims. REIN’s mission is to provide short-term assistance to horse owners in times of need.

REIN is seeking your support in launching this effort. REIN’s inaugural fundraising event includes several components –clinics with respected area horse trainers, an exhibitor display/sales area, and live entertainment, food, and games. Tickets are only $10 for the full day’s events, including an evening concert! Please plan to come out and join us!
