Back Country Campout and Ride Event
May 15-19

Ever dreamed of playing out the role of “pioneer” and following and exploring an off-beaten trail? Or stepping back in time and exploring the wilderness with a packhorse, but were afraid to try it on your own? We can help you live out that dream! Experience the trails and the thrill of overnight packing, in this overnight adventure!

Larry McMillian of Southeast Pack Trips, and Shawn and Donna Martin of True West Campground, Stables and Mercantile are co-sponsoring a back country trail ride to some of the more remote and beautiful areas of Big South Fork. Larry, an experienced trail guide will provide the mules and all the necessities for a great overnight adventure. He will lead you to the back country camp where you will stay for the next two nights. And then head back to True West where your fun continues!
